The Acoustics Technical Working Group meetings are held to foster communication and collaboration between NASA researchers and their university, industry, and government partners on activities and work of current and future mutual interest.

This meeting will be held at the NASA Glenn Mission Integration Center auditorium, onsite at Lewis Field, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135, (216) 433-4000.

October 17-18, 2017

We are anticipating two full days, starting at 8 am.

As in the past, the Acoustics Technical Working Group topics are related to subsonic and supersonic transports, rotary wing vehicles, and fundamental aeronautical science, which fall under NASA Advanced Air Vehicles, Integrated Aviation Systems, and Transformative Aeronautics Concept Programs. Lunch & Refreshments

On both days, time will be allocated for lunch, giving the option of eating off-site, or walking to the on-site cafeteria. Refreshments are available for purchase at a refreshment stand in the hallway immediately outside the auditorium.

No-Host Dinner Oct 17

A no-host dinner is being planned for October 17 at Deagan’s Kitchen and Bar ( A restaurant attendance count will be taken with check-in on the first morning.


While registration is requested for all participants, for on-site attendance by non-NASA visitors, filling out the registration form is required to get a visitor pass and access to the center.  Registration of all participants allows us to keep in touch before and after the meeting. If you can’t make the meeting, you can register to get a copy of the presentation materials. Please contact Garnette Dutton if you have any questions.

To give us time for the badging process, the deadline for registration is Monday October 2 for foreign visitors, and Monday October 9 for US persons.

Please note that visitors are required to provide picture identification at the time of badging, i.e. state driver’s license. Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) are required to provide their permanent resident card.

Copies of Presentations

Presentations will be available after the event to all registered attendees, or by sending a request to the organizer.
